Complete transcription of three declassified CIA ARTICHOKE documents. The July 1952 Artichoke Cases report documents the first confirmed overseas ARTICHOKE interrogations: two subjects held at a guarded safehouse, eyes taped shut in transit, subjected to hypnosis and sodium pentothal. Total amnesia produced in both cases. Subjects' dispositions after the operations were outside the Artichoke Team's responsibility. Frank Olson named in the 1975 retrospective.
